Application Form for Beechdale Nursery
Parents can register for a place at Nursery the school year that their child turns 2 years of age. The school year runs from 1st September – 31st August.
About Us
We are a purpose built Nursery School situated in Consett County Durham. We can accommodate up to fifty two children each session, including provision for children who have special educational needs. Children attend either morning or afternoon sessions or all day due to the new 30hr provision offer.
Session Times
Our 15hr session times are 8-30 a.m. to 11-30 a.m. and 12-15 p.m. to 3-15 p.m.
Our 30hr session times are 9.00am to 3.00pm
During the beginning of each session the children spend about half an hour in small groups participating in a range of activities led by their key worker.
They access the whole of the Nursery environment both indoors and out from 9.30 – 11am/1.15-2.45pm where a wide range of adult and child led play is on offer. They then return to their key worker groups at the end of each session for a story and discussion about their day.
We have a Breakfast Club 7.45 a.m. to 8-30 a.m. and a Lunch Club 11-30 a.m. to 12-15 p.m.
