Our children are organised into four “Key worker” groups and spend some time each day working together, sharing stories and experiences and building a relationship with their key worker, before heading out into the Nursery environment to play and learn.
We now offer 15hr and 30hr provision. Our parents can either access 5 mornings or afternoons a week or now 5 full days. We have split our key worker groups according to the provision each child accesses. The Crocs, Snakes and Lions key worker groups are for the 30hr groups of children and the Monkeys are for the 15hr children.
We have named each key worker group after different animals and the children become very familiar with their room character and even get chance to take them home to share in any adventures they might have at home.
