You will almost always hear music playing within our Nursery. From the calming vibe of classical music to the upbeat dance of pop music, its on in the back ground somewhere!
Music stimulates a child’s brain, dance helps develop motor skills and drama teaches emotions and problem solving. Drama and story telling are also very good ways to help children increase and learn new vocabulary. The positive impact that music, dance and drama has on our young children is obvious and evident each and everyday!
We sing songs every day, we dance both inside and outside and we listen to a story and then often try to act it out. The possibilities are endless for this area of Nursery and although we do have a designated area for a stage, dance, drama and singing takes place all over our Nursery!
