We have named each key worker group after animals. The children become very familiar with their room character and even get chance to take them home to share in any adventures they might have at home. As we offer 15hr and 30hr provision the children are grouped as follows;
30 hr children – Crocs, Snakes and Lions
15 hr children – Monkeys

The Role of the Key Worker
The key worker is a named practitioner/s with responsibility for a small group of children, they are there to help children feel safe and secure. The role is important for both child and parent. The key worker will respond to children’s needs and help them settle into the environment, communication is paramount between parent and key worker as these discussions hold key information about the child. Key workers provide a consistent point of contact for our parents/carers.
