Forest School at Beechdale
The children have rich and varied experiences within our on-site Forest School. Our school values outdoor learning, each and everyday we see the positive affects that outdoor learning has on our children and adults! Our Forest School ethos ensures that all children access a Forest School session each week throughout the whole school year, in Summer term children enjoy a week with their key worker group applying and extending what they have learnt throughout the year.
Mrs Bowyer is a Level 3 Forest School Leader with a passion for outdoor learning. Throughout the year she ensures that the children extend, develop and thrive in the woodland. Skills progress from simply being confident in the woodland to using tools and enjoying cooking around the fire.
