A little bit about me…
Originally from Liverpool, I have lived in Consett for over 12 years having married my husband who is from the North East. I have two children, one who has now left Consett Infant School for the junior school and one child in Year 1.
I have been involved in the school as a parent governor since 2011. I am employed as a solicitor for a large plc in the North East who fully support my involvement in taking this voluntary role at the school.
The school has a lot to offer the children who attend and as a governor I am keen to ensure that the high standards in both teaching and management at the school are maintained.
My favourite children’s book is…
The Tiger Who Came to Tea
My favourite thing to do in school is…
PE especially games
